ADDITIONAL PAPERWORK FOR PARAPROFESSIONALS
(Instructional Assistants & Aides):

Paraprofessionals must be highly qualified prior to entering the classroom. Please provide verification of your HQ status to the Human Resources Department upon hire.

Paraprofessionals must comply with the Idaho State Department of Education and Federal requirements for highly qualified status. All paraprofessionals must meet one of the following requirements via official transcripts or exam:

1.  Official transcripts - completion of at least 32 college education credits.

    OR

2.  ETS Assessment Exam - successful completion (score of 460 or higher) of the Paraprofessional Exam.

The ETS Paraprofessional Assessment exam is offered at the Special Services Department. To schedule an exam, please call (208) 557-6893. Study guides are available for check out. Registration fee is $55.00 payable on the day of your exam.
