The following information will assist you in preparing to submit an online employment application.

Fingerprinting & Pre-Employment Tests

In accordance with Federal and Idaho laws, all applicants (classified and certified) will be required to complete federal employment forms and submit a background check prior to employment. 

Certified Applicants

To be considered for a certified position, applicants must possess the following qualifications. Original documentation must be submitted at the time of hire.

  • A bachelor's degree (or higher) from a fully accredited college or university.
  • A valid Idaho teacher credential in the applicable content area. 

Paraprofessionals (Instructional Assistants & Aides)

Paraprofessionals must meet certain qualifications before entering the classroom. Proof of status must be attached to the online application. Paraprofessionals must meet one of the following requirements:

1. Completion of at least two years of college education (a minimum of 32 college credits via Official University Issued Transcripts).

OR

2. Successful completion of the Paraprofessional Exam (460 or Higher).

The ETS Paraprofessional Assessment test will be offered on dates and times designated by the Special Services Department. To register, contact Dee at (208) 557-6893. Study guides are available for checkout. Registration fee is payable on the day of your test.
