TelaDoc will be available for those enrolled on the district’s medical plan, effective 9/1/2024. Don’t wait weeks for an appointment. Teladoc physicians, therapists, and specialists can help you with the flu, infections, anxiety, stress, and skin conditions and provide advice on serious medical conditions. No matter what you're facing, they are available by phone, video, or app from wherever you are. Please see the information below for access and coverage. 

  • Teladoc provides members 24 / 7 / 365 access to a network of board-certified doctors who can treat many non-emergency medical issues when a local doctor is not available. Members can talk to a Teladoc physician anytime through the convenience of a video conference call. Teladoc is especially helpful for rural members where the emergency room (ER) may be the only option for non-emergency treatment. 

    Members should use TelaDoc:

    • When you are considering Urgent Care or the emergency room (ER) for NON-EMERGENCY medical issues.
    • When you have one of the following health issues:
      • Abdominal Pain
      • Allergies
      • Bronchitis
      • Cold
      • Cough
      • Ear Infection
      • Fever
      • Flu
      • Urinary Track Infection
      • Laryngitis
      • Pink Eye
      • Respiratory Infection
