EMPLOYEE WELLNESS

The Wellness Program exists to encourage healthier lifestyles for employees through awareness and education. Wellness is a multidimensional state of being that describes the process of becoming aware of and making choices toward a more positive existence. The goals of the program is to help employees identify personal health risks, encourage personal responsibility for health and wellness, provide motivation and support to help employees make healthy choices, control health care costs through disease prevention, and improve overall employee morale and well-being.

The District's goal, with the help of the Blue Cross/Well Connected program, is to inform employees about the following information. For additional information or suggestions, please feel free to email Michelle Gonzalez.
